Kannapolis Kares Day

  • Kannapolis will host the fifth annual Kannapolis Kares Day on Saturday, September 25. The City is actively seeking volunteer activities from civic, educational, neighborhood, business and religious organizations. For more information, click here

 

Kannapolis working to secure long-term water source

  • In partnership with Concord and Albemarle, Kannapolis will be constructing a new water line that connects the Albemarle water system with the Concord-Kannapolis system.

Kannapolis Summer Events Series Returns for 2010

  • Highlights for 2010 include the Charlotte Symphony Stars & Stripes Salute on July 2, a concert from Chairmen of the Board, family-friendly literary arts events and showings of blockbuster feature films such as Up and The Blind Side on the largest outdoor projection system in the Southeast. Fiscal Year 2011-2012 City Budget

  • On May 13, Kannapolis City Manager Mike Legg presented the preliminary budget for the 2011 fiscal year. Click here to view his budget message. A full copy of the preliminary budget is available at city hall or by clicking here. Please note that the file is very large and may take some time to download. Downtown Water Project
